Indexing

To meet the indexing requirements EJM needs to show steady quality control mechanisms, a broad editorial board, international readership and submissions and an increasing number of high-quality manuscripts in the production flow.
We are currently indexed in:
  • Web of Science (Impact Factor 1.9)
  • PubMed (NLM ID: 101773090)
  • Scopus (SOURCE ID: 21101048280)
  • CrossRef Metadata search
  • EBSCO
  • Google Scholar
  • ICI World of Journals
  • OpenAIRE

Indexing pending re-assessment:
  • DOAJ (Directory of Open Access Journals - until May 2024) (Publisher note: The journal is currently de-listed and will be reassessed in Dec 2024, due to >25% of articles published in recent issues in 2024 coming from members of the editorial board who represent our 12 European Midwifery Societies. The publisher will support the reduction of this percentage to <25% while maintaining our core value of supporting our the European Midwifery Societies which support the journal)

  • Thank you for your support in developing an international, and greatly needed, journal in the field of Midwifery. It is your support that makes the development of the journal possible.
